B is for Breakfast. What did you have for breakfast today? Cottage cheese with avocado
C is for Calling. What do you consider your calling to be? My calling is really working somewhere where I can feel like I’m really helping people.
D is for Dogs. Do you have any? I have 2 dogs, a lab/collie mix named Lincoln, and a Belgium Malinois (like a police dog) named Justice.
E is for Energy. What do you do when you need more energy? Go for a walk or drink some coffee.
F is for Fun. What do you like to do for fun? Walk the dogs; hang out with family and friends.
G is for Greatest Accomplishment. What is yours? I’m still finishing that up – but once I finish my last class to get my Masters in Public Administration from USC that will definitely be my biggest accomplishment.
H is for Hometown. Where are you from? I consider my Hometown to be Alameda.
I is for Interesting: Name one interesting fact about yourself. I am 100% Portuguese.

L is for Learning. What have you learned working at the American Lung Association thus far? So much, from the basics on Tobacco Retailer Licensing, to the structure of entire Prop 99 world and it’s awesome and dedicated people.
M is for Millions. What would you do if you had a million dollars? I would travel, all over! Starting with Italy.
N is for Need. What is one thing you need or couldn’t live without? Chapstick
O is for Occupation. What was your occupation before coming to the American Lung Association? Governmental Affairs Specialist with the California Professional Firefighters
P is for Pet Peeve. What is yours? Rude people… a little kindness goes a long way.

S is for Siblings. Do you have any? I have 2 older sisters and a younger brother and they are all awesome.
T is for Treat. What do you have/do when you want to treat yourself? Chocolate Chip Cookies! I can’t say no to them.
U is for Useless. Do you have a useless talent? I’m double jointed… it’s totally useless.
V is for Vacation. What is the best vacation you have been on? My favorite vacation was going back to visit Santa Cruz last summer with my husband, we were able to visit all our favorite spots and eat at all our favorite places.
W is for Work. What made you decide to apply for a position with the American Lung Association? I have always wanted to work on an issue that I felt a deep personal connection to and this position allows me to do that. Plus, the people just seemed so great!
X is for X-Ray. Have you ever had one? Why? Never
Y is for Yummy. What is the yummiest food you make? I make a pretty awesome turkey chili!
